Susan is one of most vivacious and joyful people I have ever met. She has a love for life and a dedication to healthy, sustainable living that she loves to pass on to others. She is a Master Gardener with the greenest thumb I’ve ever seen and she shares all her knowledge of gardening through the genius gardening books she’s written.
She and her husband Thomas (who is a master craftsman) have just recently developed a no-mess, no-fail system for growing microgreens indoors (called The Good Box), and they needed a strategically designed website to release it to the world.
When first discussing the website project, Susan mentioned that her website needed to reflect her personality: fun, energetic, and encouraging. Her main goal was that “the people who visited the site should feel empowered and encouraged to live a healthy, sustainable lifestyle, and know that it IS POSSIBLE for them.”
She is always giving from the abundance of knowledge that she possesses on this topic, and her website and blog are the perfect place to share her passion.
The website itself needed to do a few things:
- It needed to be a platform to sell The Good Box and her other gardening products (including a kids line of gardening solutions).
- It had to have a place for a blog to drive traffic to the website through organic search and empower her audience with gardening knowledge.
Here’s how we accomplished these goals:
- We built a long-form sales page for The Good Box. This page gives ALL the details and includes ways to use the microgreens and testimonials from raving fans of this new product. We also built an online store using Woo-commerce to sell the other gardening solutions EarthenMamma has to offer (i.e. gardening books, extra microgreen seeds, and a kids line of garden products).
- We designed a blog that is beautiful and helpful. With 4 categories of posts (including a recipe category) visitors to the site are sure to find fascinating and practical, helpful information. We even included a suggestion form for users to submit topics they would like to see a blog post about!
